honestly did not think it would make a difference but I can notice right away the days I forget using it. Since I huge matte lipsticks all the time, they tend to dry my lips so much and with using this at night, it does help in moisturizing my lips for the next day. Another bonus to me, it has a lovely sweet scent to it
