I love the color first off! Doesn't taste unpleasant and quite moisturizing. The water gloss isn't sticky, feels great on the lips. 

they weren't kidding when they named this silky finish powder! This is a must have, smells devine and leaves my skin literally silky smooth after i apply this over my foundation. I would definitely repurchase this product! Love!!

I really love this lotion! It smells heavenly and is so light on the skin. Absorbs fast but still leaves my skin hydrated. 

First of all, the shade match was not bad at all. I always get the darkest colors in cushions. My skin color is about nc35, and the cushions matched very nicely. My own skin is very acne prone and oily. This cushion is very high coverage, but also very dewy. You cant NOT set this cushion with a powder: it transfers very easily. Sometimes it transfers even when i set it lightly with a powder (because i get oily). When i bake, though, it does not transfer. Overall, i would recommend if you want coverage and dewy skin, but make sure you set it!

This review is for the Faceshop Lovely Meex BB cream. I don't know why the product link in my purchase history led to this Mild Freshner product instead...

 

The Packaging:

Convenient for travel. Cute and tasteful. Nothing too childish.

 

The SPF:

Twenty is decent. It's better than my MAC foundation, and most experts say only 15 is necessary anyways.

 

The Coverage:

Very poor coverage. I am really unimpressed. I use it as a base and use my MAC foundation on top. Or I mix the two. But it cannot be used on its own unless you just want to even your skin tone a little. And you have no blackheads to cover. Or acne scars. This thing is only good for redness.

 

The Smell:

A pleasant, perfume-like smell. 

 

The Color:

This thing is like...not a human skin color. Unless you're ashy as Pompeii. Or dead. It has a really weird, gray undertone. I feel like it washes me out. I'm cool-toned, but this BB cream... It's not warm-toned. I don't know what it is. Gray-toned? I just use it for the extra SPF until I can run out of it.

This is my first cushion! The only foundation I've used before is a BB cream from FaceShop, the Matchmaker foundation from MAC, and a drug store Maybelline one. I can only compare this cushion to those, which has prices ranging from $8 to $40.

 

The Packaging:

The cushion is easily the most convenient. It has a mirror that is only framed by the rim of the lid, so that maximizes the reflective surface. Yay. The look is very simple and elegant. :) The inner and outer lids are easy to open and close. I did notice, however, that when I dropped my bag, which had the cushion in it, the lid opened a little. Hmmmm. :(

 

The SPF:

This cushion has the highest SPF out of all of my other foundation, but like all makeup-based sun protection...I really wonder if the layer I apply is thick enough to do any good.

 

The Smell:

The cushion has the strongest smell. It's very perfumey. Not fruity, not flowery. Just...ladylike. It's strong going on, but the smell disappears eventually. It doesn't bother me. I kinda like it.

 

The Coverage:

I'm actually legit impressed by the coverage. I've only tried Missha and Faceshop BB creams, the Faceshop one being the one I use consistently. Both aren't great coverage. I figured that that's just how BB creams are because I've always gotten good coverage from MAC and Maybelline, which aren't BB creams. But this Laneige cushion has crazy nice coverage. Not full enough to be photoshop level but enough to even my complexion. It's the same coverage as my MAC foundation (maybe even fuller coverage because I feel like a little goes a lot further with Laneige).

 

The Transfer:

The transfer is real, you guys. :( I wiped my nose today, and I felt like I my whole face came off on the napkin. When I check my makeup, it still looked great. Maybe it's just so pigmented that it looked like a lot came off. I don't know. I feel like it left a mark on my black T-shirt too... All of my foundations do that when I'm not careful enough. I also don't set my Laneige cushion with any powder either, so that might contribute to its transferableness.

 

The Color:

I got Sand Beige (#23). It matches my cool-toned skin. It looks a lot darker in the pan! It's not grayish like my Faceshop BB cream.

 

The Blendability:

Y'all... I would give this 10 out of 5 stars if I could. It's so blendable. I feel like I barely get any product on the sponge, but once I start patting it onto my face, it covers and spreads so well.

 

The Texture:

It feels a little oily. Like sunscreen that doesn't absorb well. :( I don't look greasy, so I'm okay with it. I think setting it with powder would help.

 

It a very good one clearing mask, but it isn't only it! It actually makes my skin look much younger, after using it my wrinkles disappears.

I actually can't get used to it. Have problems with wiping it away - I still fell like something is on my skin. So you really need one more washing step after this. 

It's a good one, but nothing really special. Just a good one wash without any flaws.

I've only gotten to try it once so far, but it left my skin feeling so soft and calm! Definitely like it so far.

When it arrived, the bottle was a bit moist so i guess it leaked a bit. But oh my God, it's super satisfying to see how much dead skin cell i have after exfoliating them with these. Definitely will buy again. Or maybe will even try the wine one.
